Tutoring Policies & Scheduling
Our tutoring policies are designed to create a clear, respectful, and supportive experience by outlining scheduling, cancellations, and session expectations.
Scheduling Sessions
• Sessions are scheduled in advance based on tutor availability
• Recurring weekly sessions are recommended to support consistent progress
• Single sessions can be arranged as needed
• Once sessions begin, scheduling and adjustments are handled directly with your tutor
Payments
• Tutoring is billed at $90 per clinical hour
• A clinical hour is a 50-minute hour, allowing for note-taking and preparation between clients
• Payment is due within 14 days of receiving the invoice
• Please reach out if any payment issues arise, communication helps
Cancellation & Rescheduling
• 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full at the scheduled session rate
• No-shows are treated as late cancellations
• Emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis
Tutor Cancellations
• If a tutor needs to cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible
• The session will be rescheduled or a suitable replacement will be provided
Student Preparation
To make sessions productive, students should:
• Arrive on time
• Have assignments, notes, or questions ready
• When possible, send study guides or materials at least 24 hours in advance
Communication
• We aim to respond to messages within 1–2 business days
• Scheduling and cancellation requests should be sent via email or agreed method
